Online photo and video sharing site, Photobucket has added new features to make it easier for users to organize and personalize their photo and video collections.
The site has introduced a new “Themes” feature that allows users to customize their photos and videos by choosing from a variety of pre-made themes in categories such as holidays, entertainment, sports, nature, art and travel. Musical artists will also be offering custom themes.
Photobucket users can create a custom theme by changing the background image by choosing a pre-made option or by selecting an image that already exists in their album. They will be able to select border styles for photo and video thumbs along with choosing the color of the theme.
Themes can be added to individual albums and to group albums and will appear to a visitor when viewing an entire album, an individual photo or video and when photos are shared.
Photobucket is also introducing a new album organizer feature that allows user to manage photos and videos with drag and drop features, descriptions and tags along with being able to search through albums based on title, description or tag content.
“Photos and videos are how we keep and share the most important moments in our lives and our goal with this release was to put even more control and creativity in the hands of users,” said Alex Welch, president of Photobucket.
