Pingdom tracked 12 top social networking sites from October 19 to November 19, and found that Microsoft’s Live Spaces had the most downtime, with the site failing to respond for a total of three hours over the course of the month. By contrast, that’s more than Facebook (10 minutes), MySpace (10), Bebo (30), LiveJournal (40) and Orkut (85) combined, and worst on the list.

After relaunching MSN Spaces as a Windows Live-branded service with updated features, a combination of issues caused plenty of problems for users.

The successor to Microsoft's MSN Spaces blogging service launched this week with an assortment of new features for its users.

Microsoft noted how its MSN Spaces blogging service drew more than 100 million visitors in April, and that does not even include its 20 million unique visitors in China.

MSN Spaces has added a Windows Live Expo module, so people can list their Expo items on their Space.
