With Facebook talking about reaching their lofty revenue goals for 2009 you would have to suspect that Twitter has to address the issue as well. Bloomberg reports today that Twitter is planning to show revenue in 2009 from clients like Dell, Whole Foods and Starbucks.

US Online Ad Revenue at $5.5 Billion in Q1
Internet advertising revenues in the US reached $5.5 billion for the first quarter. This is according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers. This is a 5% decline from a year ago.

Twitter Talks Revenue & Real-Time Search
At the All Things Digital Conference, otherwise known as D7, Twitter Co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone talked about possibilities for making money in the future, but once again, did not want to give too many details away.
Williams said the company is working on a form for people to fill out to give them money, so evidently something is in motion. TheStreet.com reports:

Wireless Revenue Reached $32 Billion In 2008
Wireless revenues showed solid year-to-year gains, as wireless data service revenues for 2008 rose to more than $32 billion, according to a survey from CTIA-The Wireless Association.
This represents a 39 percent increase over 2007, when data revenues totaled $23.2 billion. Wireless data revenues for 2008 amounted to nearly 22 percent of all wireless service revenues, and represent what consumers spend on non-voice services.

Online Ad Revenue Up 10.6%
Internet advertising revenues in the U.S. remain solid, reaching $23 billion in 2008, according to a new report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Overall 2008 revenues totaled a record $23.4 billion, surpassing 2007's record of $21.2 billion by $2.2 billion or 10.6 percent.
