Well, Bill Gates seems to think he has a pretty good understanding of the issues. Gates released a 200-word statement on Thursday expressing his views on the subject.

A bill before the House would reform the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and ensure protections long enjoyed by consumers for lawfully using digital content continue to exist.

After pressure from the United States and the European Union, China has revalued its currency, the yuan by 2.1%, so it is not pegged to the U.S. dollar anymore.

The United States Treasury said that it would give China six months to make its currency more flexible, or it would name the country a "manipulative trading partner" in its report to congress.
