This has been true for some time, but now more than ever, it's impossible for any one person (or even a team of reasonable size) to keep up with all the clips uploaded to YouTube.  According to an official blog post, about 20 hours of video are introduced to the site in every minute of real time.

For what it’s worth—is it worth something?—CNN piggyback publicity team conceded victory, but would reach a million itself sometime in the wee morning hours. About 7:30 last night, just about the time the Twitter-battle was being hyped on entertainment news, bookies reached out to my inbox to inform me the odds favored CNN. Google Reaches Ad Deal With European News Agencies

Netflix Reaches More Than 10 Million Subscribers

Netflix said today its online movie rental service has reached over 10 million subscribers, reflecting its widespread and growing popularity among movie fans. The company says it has added more than 600,000 net subscribers since January 1. It surpassed nine million subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2008 and ended the year with 9.4 million subscribers.

Click Fraud Reaches Record Level

Click Forensics has released its latest figures on click fraud for the fourth quarter and says it has jumped to the highest level since 2006.The overall industry average click fraud rate grew 17.1 percent for the fourth quarter of 2008. That's up from 16.0 percent in Q3 2008 and from 16.6 percent for Q4 2007.The average click fraud rate of PPC ads appearing on search engine content networks, including Google AdSense and the Yahoo Publisher Network, was 28.2 percent. That's up from 27.1 percent rate reported for Q3 2008 and down slightly from 28.3 percent for Q4 2007.
