Google Co-founder Sergey Brin has started a new personal blog called simply - Too. "While Google is a play on googol, too is a play on the much smaller number - two," writes Brin. "It also means 'in addition', as this blog reflects my life outside of work."

Just yesterday, I had a conversation, agreeing that the only thing that could topple Google, would be privacy. The same day, a judge presiding over the Google/Viacom case issued a court order requiring Google to turn over your personal data.

This is a great sign.  Today there is a very unique event happening throughout the day - the Personal Branding Summit is a telesummit of some top speakers all talking about the topic of personal branding. 

It has been an interesting week - a few blog posts out there attacking others, a nice article on online reputation that was syndicated from the Seattle Times, and a phone call via Facebook asking me about ... defending your reputation because of blogs.

As I've written in the past, Facebook is the most legitimate and productive social network for business professionals on the Web today.

People sell all kinds of stuff on eBay. The past brings us listings for immortal souls (deleted), Britney Spears hair (mostly deleted), and even cruel Christmas presents (deleted pronto). And now someone is selling his personal data to the highest bidding marketer.

At the end of the day, it's about sales, not traffic. And if it's about sales, then it must also be about people, not clicks. This seemed to be the focus of yesterday's one-day SEW Live in Columbus, OH (you might call it SES Lite), as marketers explore the transition from search engine marketing to social media marketing.

Yahoo has added several new features to its travel Web site. The new version of Yahoo Travel focuses on personalized travel deals, travel guides and a new mapping system.
