Did Oprah Make Twitter’s Numbers Look Bad?
Earlier today, we looked at some numbers that didn't exactly look great for Twitter. While the numbers certainly shouldn't be ignored, nobody ever said they were concrete or indisputable fact.
The fact is, that numbers supplied from research firms are often off a bit, and they should usually be taken with a grain of salt. The indication however, was that Twitter growth had pretty much screeched to a halt. That really might not be the whole picture though.

Yahoo Posts Bad Numbers, Still Skates By
Yahoo had a good day on the stock market, gaining a full 5.27 percent during normal trading hours. And - in what some may find to be a surprising development - it doesn't seem set to drop much in after-hours trading as investors dissect the company's first-quarter earnings report.

Podcasting Numbers Under Delivered?
I know that eMarketer’s numbers on the growth of podcasting should make us all feel warm and fuzzy, but I just can’t shake the feeling that the channel has severely under delivered. The good news is that US audience numbers should grow from a total audience of 18.5 million in 2007 to a whopping 65 million by 2012. Also good news, the amount spent on podcast advertising should grow from $165 million to $435 million by 2012.
