eBay upset a lot of its sellers over the last year and a half or so with various announcements and policy changes. Evidence of this is all over the web on message boards, blog comments, and social networks.

Update: eBay is starting to test the badges. The company made the following announcement: Over the next few weeks you may see a new seller badge appearing on some item pages and in search results. This badge is part of the new eBay Top-rated seller status announced last week and launching in October. Starting this week and over the next few weeks, we'll be testing the badge in search results and item pages for a small percentage of eBay traffic.

Last week, Google introduced social gadgets for iGoogle in Australia. Today they have made them available in the US. Well, they'll be gradually rolling out starting today, anyway. The social gadgets let users share, collaborate, and play games with their friends. There are 19 of them at this point that have been debuted today. They include things like:

Google recently launched its Facebook Page. Now they have launched one specifically for AdSense. Google refers to this as one-stop shop for up-to-date info. It will be synched with the AdSense blog and Twitter account, and will also contain optimization photos and videos that are found on the AdSense YouTube channel.

Microsoft’s interactive agency Razorfish is the subject of some varying rumors as of late. The one common thread in all of these reports is that Microsoft is shopping the company. That much we know for sure. Where they end up is the subject of much speculation.

Google puts out features and labs like Takashi Miike puts out films - very frequently. And like Miike's films, some are good, and some are quite questionable.

Microsoft executives are busy laying off thousands, hiring thousands, releasing Windows 7, and checking the blogs for the latest rumors from Apple. They are also busy acquiring companies—well, one company at least. On Thursday, Microsoft announced its acquisition of a small company named Big Park.

 While it is no surprise that Yahoo started announcing the layoffs of between 600-700 people this week (the
