After a 0.6% drop in March, and no change in April, the Composite Index of Leading Economic Indicators fell 0.5% last month according to a report from the Conference Board.

The Conference Board reported that the Composite Index of Leading Economic Indicators declined 0.3% in January.

The NASDAQ Composite (COMPX) opened modestly higher at 1611.17 on Tuesday, and, thanks to the substantial rise in fear on Monday, COMPX spent the entire session in positive territory with a close significantly higher at 1627.67, +23.70 (+1.48%).
