Price has become an increasingly important factor when choosing a wireless provider according to a new comScore survey of U.S. mobile phone users.Coverage, price and family/friends connectivity were the three most important factors given by respondents when choosing a wireless carrier. In a similar survey from 2006, respondents said better coverage was almost twice as important as price, 27 percent compared with 14 percent. Having friends and family who had the same carrier was an important factor for 13 percent.

In a series B round of funding, the Indiana 21st Century Research and Technology Fund showed its confidence in ChaCha by tossing in $2 million.  Morton Meyerson must really like ChaCha, though - he gave the human-powered search company $8 million.

People have debated whether content is really king for some time, and for content producers, it seems a no-brainer: create quality content and the audience will come. That's the way it's always been, that's how it will remain. A survey about blog readership conducted by Vizu confirms that mantra, and reinforces the importance of good writing.

Being able to research products online is important to retail shoppers. Ninety-one percent of online shoppers said it was "important" or "very important" for retailers to offer in- depth product information online according to WebCollage's 2007 "Survey of Online Consumer Product Research Habits."

Seth Godin, on his blog, wrote "Do you really need a home page? Does the web respect it?". Here is what he wrote: Human beings don't have home pages. People make judgments about you in a thousand different ways. By what they hear from others, by the way they experience you, and on and on. Companies may have a website, but they don't have a home page in terms of the way people experience them.
