THE DETERMINANT OF YOUR SUCCESS Perhaps the most powerful single factor in your financial success is your beliefs about yourself and money. We call this the Law of Belief. It says simply this: Whatever you believe, with feeling, becomes your reality. Whatever you intensely believe becomes your reality. That we have a tendency to block out any information coming in to us that is inconsistent with our reality.

Let me begin by telling you a story... In Indiana, there lives a woman who works 8 hour days 6 days a week at a local computer company. We will call her "Barbara" for the sake of this article.

In studying resilience and the sweet uses of adversity, and listening to my coaching clients, I discover the same things over and over again. After a given point in time, the person acknowledges that a lot of good things have come from their adversities.

What is happiness? I remember many different times in my life when I have tried to answer that question--both for myself and for the people I have worked with in seminars and workshops.

What's stopping you from living the life of your dreams? Is it your circumstances or is it what you choose to believe about those circumstances and your ability to change them?
