Google News has a new feature: custom localized news. Just visit the Google News homepage and scroll down to the “Local News” input box. Enter your location, click Add, and you’ll find a new navigation entry in the top left.

Something that’s “custom” is usually rare; it’s often, in fact, unique.  Yet the Google Custom Search platform is available to just a lot of folks, as a new announcement states that it’s accessible in 40 languages and roughly 80 countries.

The Google Custom Search Engine Blog has informed that Google has added supplemental results to the results displayed in Google Custom Search Engines.

Google's Blogger just got a lot more flexible: It will now support custom domain names for your blog. "We'll continue to host all your content as before, but it will be displayed at your new address," promises a post at Blogger Help.
