There’s a fair amount of commotion surrounding Confused.com; the site, which is “a one-stop shop to help you find out whether you can save money on your car or home insurance this year,” may be accepting acquisition bids of well over $1 billion.  And a potential buyer may be InterActiveCorp, the owner of Ask.com.

During a recent period of PC breakdowns, I realized that I took my computer for granted. I thought the high tech machine would never let me down. Just when I thought things were going smoothly, "BANG", I was in deep trouble.

I recently spent a little time surfing the web looking at general web marketing and promotion sites and was somewhat surprised at how many were making what I consider, basic design mistakes. How many of the following apply to YOUR site?
