YouTube is testing a "secret" beta of a new channel layout, which as I'm sure they're aware by now it is not very secret anymore. Although, I can't imagine that they expected it would be kept secret for long. According to Read Write Web, some YouTube users were notified about the beta testing directly from YouTube via email. Others had to find out indirectly.

Microsoft is running its first ad campaign that simultaneously combines Internet, mobile and video game ads to promote the Discovery Channel's fifth season of the fishing documentary "Deadliest Catch." Microsoft says the one-day campaign with the Discovery Channel has enabled it to sell 90 percent of its advertising inventory. The advertising campaign will be on MSN, MSN Mobile, Windows Live Hotmail, Microsoft Live Search and Xbox Live.

The private nonprofit cable public affairs network C-SPAN is launching its own channel on YouTube.The C-SPAN channel on YouTube will be focused on the upcoming Pennsylvania primary and is inviting voters to answer the question "What issue in this election is most important to you, and why?"
