While Perl may not be the "cool" language for websites anymore, there are some of us who prefer to work with it because we use it for so many other tasks.

For years the Mac was a highly specialized PC, ignored by most, but loved by certain industry aficionados. But no matter how dearly adored it was for its stability, security, and usefulness in the layout and design professions, it didn't have the appeal that came with heavy hitter Microsoft and Windows OS.

Code validation is still widely debated as to whether it is required for performance within the search engines. It is only a guess that the search engines don't utilise it within their algorithm, but nobody is actually 100% sure on that fact. Tests are performed and results obtained with conflicting information whether code validation is taken into account. What's new and interesting though, is the overwhelming popularity of XHTML.

It has been exactly one month since Google introduced its infamous Florida Update. As the Florida Update has brought about the largest and most comprehensive shake-up of Google's listings ever, it has generated a great deal of interest around the world and genuine panic for the literally millions of webmasters who's sites have been adversely affected by the change.
