Yahoo Giving Out $20K in Search Marketing Credits

Yahoo is launching a campaign with Bank of America this week, which a spokesperson for Yahoo tells murdok is essentially “a big online push for BofA to build visibility and facilitate dialogue in the small business community.”

Yahoo’s Small Business Answers Center is designed for small business owners with “great ideas and good questions,” who don’t always get credible answers.

Yahoo Small Business Answers Center

The Yahoo Small Business Answers Center provides:

– Yahoo! Answers content, Yahoo! editorial integration and Bank of America content, resources and community

– Yahoo! Small Business Groups Integration

– A home for “Ask a Pro” Events

Ask a Pro events are a series of four events, beginning June 22, where Kevin Salwen, a former reporter, columnist, and National Small Business Editor at the Wall Street Journal, will answer questions throughout the week and participate in live Q&A Question.

Kevin will pick the best question from each event, and the winner will receive search advertising credits on Yahoo as well as a 45 minute phone conversation with Kevin. The winner will also be featured in the Yahoo Small Business Center.

“It’s no secret that online entrepreneurship can be a rewarding and liberating experience, but it can also be a bit scary, especially if you’re trying to make a living off of it in this economy,” the spokesperson says.

If not just as a useful small business resource, business owners may want to consider checking out the site, simply for a crack at winning $20,000 in search marketing credits. That wouldn’t be a bad thing for anybody’s marketing budget.
