First and foremost the box called categories changed size on load up nearly causing me to jump out of the page.
It settled down to a reasonable size but there is no benefit to the resizing. Right in the center a common error, Italics. When will designers learn that few fonts look good in Italics. Actually it looks blurred and no I didn’t have any martinis last night. The page is way to long. If they’ve got interesting information I’ll go to page two or three and there it doesn’t bother me if its a little longer than normal. If they can’t get my attention and interest in a normal first page then making it longer (and slower to load) isn’t going to enchant me.
One error I find annoying is the lack if identity. The page doesn’t tell me where they are located, when I go to the who are we equivalent also vague. No emails clear on the front page, no I don’t want to subscribe to any list. No addresses nor cities. I recently got burnt by an Asian look-a-like that literally robbed the identity of an American company. I want to know with whom I’m doing business. Writing to one company I was told that the name of the President is confidential. Hey thats public information according to the law. Not criticizing this company but the lack of info up front makes me suspicious these days. Yes I do business with many foreign firms but I know who they are up front. Whats wrong with a snail mail address, phone (they have an 800 up front but that doesnt tell me where they are) and email up front.
Low Price of $0.00 is listed on one toolbit. Great price can I buy a few thousand at that price?
Page is full of information, not well organized psychologicamente unless one likes to feel they’re at a trade show.
You asked so don’t cry.
Have a great day.
