PeopleJam Improves Through Content Deals

If you want to lead a better life, PeopleJam is a social network that’s gung-ho about helping you achieve that goal.  And Stream4 Media and Nightingale-Conant are presumably interested, as well, since they’ve just signed content deals with PeopleJam.

Stream4 Media, a video company, is stepping forward “with more than 500 episodes of programming that will be available exclusively to PeopleJam members and syndication partners.”  Look for stuff from Harvard Health Publications, various fitness sites, and food and wine experts.

Nightingale-Conant could bring known personalities such as Tony Robbins, Dale Carnegie, and Deepak Chopra into play; PeopleJam intends to “offer its users and syndication partners a unique collection of video and audio clips produced from Nightingale-Conant . . .”

A press release continues, “This is the first time that select components of Nightingale products that retail for hundreds of dollars or more will be offered at no charge in a form that drives inspiring personal discussions in an interactive environment.”

All in all, it sounds like a very good deal.  A little unendingly positive for my tastes, but a good deal nonetheless.   Whatever sugarcoating is put on it, PeopleJam is liable to offer solid advice on many subjects, and the young social network is likely to attract a reasonable number of members.
