Jonathan Colehower, most recently vice president of supply chain management at Oracle, has been named senior vice president for corporate strategy and marketing at Optiant.
Colehower will direct the company’s next stage of global growth, advancing the strategic direction of the company, and formulating global marketing and product development strategy.
“Jonathan’s experience in establishing a global brand in a fast-evolving market will be a critical asset as we scale our new wave of growth,” said Daniel Ross, CEO of Optiant. “His expertise in building organizations based on value-driven solutions will ensure that Optiant continues to lead the supply chain management market.”
Optiant’s PowerChain Suite gives companies unprecedented ability to manage the supply chain holistically. The optimization software ensures that decisions about inventory levels and locations, suppliers, outsourcing strategies and distribution channels are made within the framework of business objectives such as speeding time-to-market, improving product margins, and capturing greater market share. The software’s ability to deliver groundbreaking ROI has been a critical driver in the company’s rapid growth; Optiant works with many of the world’s largest companies, including Gillette, Sonoco, Henkel and Imation and has recently expanded into Europe.
“Optiant is leading the way for manufacturers to finally close the gap between managing the supply chain and overall business strategy,” said Colehower. “This breakthrough positions Optiant for long-term success in an exciting market and I’m looking forward to contributing to the next phase of innovation and excellence.”
Colehower will report to Ross. Prior to his position at Oracle, he spent ten years as an associate partner in Accenture’s Strategic Services Practice, leading the Utilities Supply Chain practice.
