March Madness has an entirely different meaning for me this month, it’s just been absolutely crazy, thus my sparse postings here – but don’t get me wrong, it’s been fun too.
Working behind the scenes at Yahoo! has (as always) been absolutely nuts, especially lately with the introduction of Yahoo! 360 and of course the news today that Flickr is being acquired. With regard to Yahoo! 360, I think (I hope) I might be able to finagle a beta invite and when I do, I’d like to use it to open up a community for PR bloggers. That being said, I’ll take a cue from Charlene Li and state that if you’re a PR blogger and you’re interested in taking a peek at Yahoo! 360 later this month, leave a comment here and I’ll do my best to invite you in.
In other news, I think it’s also pretty well known that I represent JotSpot and that too has been keeping me busy, especially last week’s news regarding Lawrence Lessig’s “Code” project. I think the wiki category is just exploding right now and the best has yet to come, so keep an eye on this market if you’re not already. In fact, consider investing in it. Seriously, if you haven’t already played around with Yahoo!’s Tech Buzz Game, check it out. They have a wiki market. At the moment, the open source solutions are just dominating the commercial providers.
All this being said, I’m hoping to return to more of a regular posting schedule this week, but who knows, that could literally change in the next five minutes, so I won’t make any promises but will do my best to chime in where (and when) I can….
