Advertising need not be expensive. Studies on the internet show ezine advertising is one of the best ways to get a response to your classified but remember all you are trying to accomplish is to get that customer to get more information about your product. By the sales letter you send, pamphlets, brochures, etc.
I put all of this on an autoresponder. I also have been trying a new way. I have a voice message with a powerful sales message. Your voice mail must answer in three minuites or less. I then give them a place to pay. I use paypal, and direct mail. With paypal they can pay with a credit card or echeck. I find this works well for me without all the high charges of having to take credit cards. If you have not joined paypal I highly recommend it especially to new business that do not want to set up credit card payments. I even can set up a shopping cart on my site with paypal. Ureach is one of the better ones it allows you to have a phone number to have your prospect call with an answering machine when you receive a message they immediately search you out at the phone numbers you have entered such as your cell, your home phone, your business phone. So you know immediately if you have a prospect or an order. You can also fax from there and email. The cost is minimal for the service.

As you can see all of these programs have affiliate programs and you can buy your own advertising at a discount. I recommend all of the above. I get good results from all of them.
Now write a script that describes the benefits of your products keep in mind that you only have about two minuites to deliver it. Now also remember you are only describing the benefits of the product.
For example if you are selling sun glasses do not describe the sun glasses. My sunglasses have techical hvr sun screen.
You will save your eyes with these unique sunglasses they will screen your eyes from uv rays while making you comfortable while driving against the sun, on the beach, while doing sports, You will look great in these stylish glasses.
This is much more persuasive and convincing to the listener, and will draw far more orders.
Practice with your script so you can deliver it in an enthusiastic way in two minuites without sounding rushed. Don’t use hype or misleading comments you are trying to build confidence and do honest business. You want repeat business and referrals.
Now tape your recording listen to it and see how you sound. You do not have to sound like a TV announcer but speak clearlyand with emotion. Emotion moves people through the sale. Use the last minuite to give them the choice you have to pay. For instance I would give them an address for Paypal telling them they can use their credit card or echeck there with the address of how to join paypal. I also give them an address of my business to send checks or money orders.
Next write your classified ad. It should entice the customer to call for example: Protect your eyes now while looking great doing it. You will never wear a more attractive eyewear or protect your eyes more completely. For our secret call in the next 24 hours 1800 eyewear
This is not wordy but because you do not have to put an address in you can be more wordy. Use another phone line not your office phone to take orders.
What will happen if you have worded your ad and sales message well is people will call and buy. This is less expensive than display ads. Try this method you will be surprised how much money you will make with little output. This is a great way to automate your business. Another point I want to make here is you can use this approach depending on what your selling to just have the prospect leave you their number and you can call them back. Now I am the queen of hating cold calling but I have no trouble calling back someone who has expressed an interest in my product. Well I will leave that to another article.
