Google’s AdSense Calendar can be integrated with the Google Calendar to keep AdSense users informed of events related to the service.
Google launched the AdSense Calendar for site publishers using the advertising service for their sites. A blog post about the launch noted some details about the new service.
This new calendar shows Google AdSense’s “monthly payment schedule, a record of AdSense blog posts, future system maintenance periods, and upcoming events – all backdated to the beginning of April 2006.”
After adding the AdSense Calendar to a Google Calendar, events related to AdSense will appear in orange on the days they occur. While many people will go ahead and use the AdSense and Google Calendars together, Google offers an alternative to that.
By supporting the iCal standard, users can bring the AdSense Calendar into an iCal-compatible program like iCal for Mac. Also, Google noted how people could subscribe to the Calendar with a feed reader and keep track of updates that way.
Adding the AdSense Calendar is a simple process of visiting the instructions page, clicking a button, and confirming the addition to the Google Calendar. Buttons for XML and iCal formats may be selected instead for those options.
