How to Submit Articles to Yahoo Groups

Writing articles online is the best way to establish your expertise and bring in business. Do you know about the Yahoo Lists?

You must join each list in order to be able to submit to it. Go here and find lists relative to your work: http://groups.yahoo.com.

Here is the email address of one list I belong to. You can submit to it as many times a day as you like once you have joined the list: QC_Reprint_Articles@yahoogroups.com;

They’ll ask you if you want to receive individual emails or one email. Click the latter. You’ll still get lots of emails, but that’s what the delete key is for.

You want to do this to (1) make sure your work is being included and (2) see what other writers are doing.

You’re required to submit your work in a certain format called a “word wrap.”

Procedure: Compose your article in Word. Cut and paste it over to this site: www.formatit.com , which you’ll want to bookmark. Then click submit and it formats it for you.

If you have Notepad, use that to format.

Once the article is formatted, cut and paste it into the body of an email. Enter your email address at the top, using the Bcc space.

For the subject line put the title of your article without quotes.

For format if you put what follows at the top, it’s acceptable to all lists.
————————————————————————————————————-
Please consider this article for your ezine or website. Permission to reprint if byline stays intact. Courtesy copy appreciated. (You can say “required” if you like. Then they must write you when they use it, which is fun for a while.)

TITLE: AUTHOR: WORD COUNT: WRAP: 65 URL: MAILTO:

“This is the Title of My Article,” by Nancy R. Fenn, TheIntrovertzCoach

Then put the body of your article. At the bottom put your byline.

In this format, you can’t use HTML so this is how you put in a link:
