RoboLabs has introduced a handy little product that could be the salvation for all the people out there who dread mowing their lawn.
SmartMow Series-1 takes the work out of cutting your lawn by autonomously mowing your yard.
After installing a perimeter wire in your yard, SmartMow can be activated by using a security card. It moves in a circular pattern to detect the perimeter wire and follow it back to the docking station. When it reaches the docking station, it continues mowing in a random pattern.
SmartMow also features a remote control that can be used to reach difficult areas or to maintain a uniform pattern.
SmartMow will run for 2-3 hours and will then automatically return to its docking station when the battery is low, and charge for 3-4 hours before continuing to mow your lawn.
Safety features include:
An Anti-Theft Device prevents the SmartMow from activating with out the key card.
An Infrared Sensor is located in the front bumper of the SmartMow and is used to detect obstacles before the SmartMow reaches them. The SmartMow will then attempt to avoid the obstacle before touching it.
Bump Switches are located in SmartMow’s bumper and tells the SmartMow to turn around if it comes in contact with an obstacle.
A Lift Switch is located on the front caster wheel of the SmartMow. The lift switch tells SmartMow to stop the blades with in 3 seconds of the wheel lifting off of the ground.
SmartMow is now taking pre-orders that include 25 percent off the retail price of $750.
