GT Nexus Among 100 Great Supply Chain Partners

Leading Business Magazine Publishes Reader Rankings of Top-Performing Technology, Logistics, Transportation Providers Delivering Supply Chain Excellence.

GT Nexus, Inc., a provider of global logistics and supply chain execution technology, has been named by the readers of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies magazine to the “100 Great Supply Chain Partners” report for 2004.

The annual report drew over 2,000 qualified nominations from 500 companies across five continents. The report is the result of a six-month poll in which the magazine’s readers cited top-performing partners whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions made a significant impact on organizational efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. The report was published in the magazine’s recently released August issue.

“Global supply chains require tremendous teamwork, innovation and performance excellence across many partners to be successful,” said Brad Berger, GL&SCS’s publisher. “The winners are rewarded for their ability to skillfully combine people, process and technology that deliver value and help organizations operate their supply chains with maximum efficiency and service, globally. GT Nexus was among those that our readers recognized as the best of the best at doing this.”

Berger noted that the 100 Great Supply Chain Partners report was based entirely on entries voluntarily submitted by readers. Worldwide in scope, it included small and large organizations across all types of supply chain activities, products and services. The purpose of the report, which is in its second year, was to “recognize those vendors that have so impressed our readers that they deserve to be singled out and to be held up as examples for others in the industry.” It also provided insight on the services, technologies, expertise and support that industry practitioners cited as critical to the collective success of global supply chain initiatives.
