FINDWHAT.COM, today announced an exclusive distribution relationship with Bizjournals, the new media division of American City Business Journals, the nation’s largest publisher of metropolitan business newspapers.
Under the terms of the exclusive distribution agreement, FindWhat.com will supply Bizjournals.com and each of its 41 local metropolitan business news websites (like San Francisco, Atlanta and Boston) with targeted keyword advertisements (paid listings) through both search box and content matching implementations. The advertisements appearing after a search will match the location of each local Bizjournals.com website and include FindWhat.com’s new pay-per-call* advertisements (FindWhat.com is the only performance-based marketing company that is offering pay-per-call advertising). Additional FindWhat.com advertisements will match the particular content of the pages on which the ads appear.
“Our agreement and implementation with Bizjournals further establishes FindWhat.com as a leader in the burgeoning local search space and highlights the depth and breadth of FindWhat.com’s leading-edge solutions to publishers and advertisers,” said Rick Szatkowski, SVP/GM FindWhat.com Network/Private Label Division. “Incorporating targeted local advertisements into the content pages of each Bizjournals.com metropolitan business news website, including ads from our pioneering pay-per-call service, is a complementary ‘next step’ to our recently announced relationships with Verizon SuperPages.com and Yellow Pages Group. Further, we believe the combination of the solutions we provide to advertisers and publishers alike expand the potential for each to maximize revenue opportunities while elevating the user experience by delivering highly qualified and relevant content online and potentially offline as well.”
“FindWhat.com is the right partner to offer additional, relevant content and functionality to our three million plus unique monthly users,” stated Tim Bradbury, executive vice president of Bizjournals.com. “This partnership will increase the services we can provide our users in our publications–both online and possibly offline.”
The Bizjournals Network, including Bizwomen.com, features local business news from around the nation updated throughout the day, top business stories from American City Business Journal’s print editions, industry-specific news from more than 40 industries, advice columns and a full menu of tools to help business owners and operators manage their businesses more successfully. Navigation to each of the 41 local business sites is easily navigated from each site.
