Arrived in Scotland’s capital late this afternoon for Delivering The New PR, the fourth in the series of one day conferences organized by the University of Sunderland, which takes place tomorrow.
It will be great to meet up again with Philip Young, Elizabeth Albrycht, Tom Murphy and Stuart Bruce as we combine our knowledge of social media and PR to deliver a full day of listening and learning with communicators in Scotland.
As with the previous conferences, I’ll be talking about podcasting and what it can do for business. In doing some research on what’s happening with this medium in the UK and developments since the last conference in London in May, I’ve found some terrific new podcasts being done by more UK organizatons. So some new examples and sounds in the podcast clips I’ll be playing.
Planning to do a bit of podcasting here, too, with conference participants. Perhaps a little videocasting as well.
As with all these events, Nicky and the team at Don’t Panic Projects have done a tremendous job of organizing and communication about the event, and we’re expecting another full house.
It should be a tremendous day for everyone.
