Major search players have signed on as sponsors for WebmasterWorld’s Las Vegas World of Search Conference, and Google will host a special morning breakfast session.
InfoSearchMedia (formerly TrafficLogic) has joined as the Premier Platinum level sponsor. Yahoo, Google, and GenieKnows.com have joined as Gold level sponsors.
InfoSearchMedia CEO Steve Lazuka said, “We go to many conferences, but none of them let us put our story out there in our words like the WebmasterWorld Conferences.” Lazuka feels that the WebmasterWorld conferences offer greater value than other conferences. “We go to other shows with the single purpose of selling services — we come to the WebmasterWorld show not only to sell, but also to learn. The World of Webmasters Conference is a major source of continuing education for our team.”
Also stepping up is Yahoo! Search, GenieKnows.com, and Google. Yahoo has been a cornerstone of these conferences since 2000. Brett Tabke CEO of WebmasterWorld said, “Every time we turn around Yahoo is right there, we just count on them. After all, many of us cut our net teeth on Yahoo many years ago. The consistency of Yahoo quality is refreshing and reassuring.”
GenieKnows.com was a meta-search engine that has turned into pay-per-click search engine. “The WebmasterWorld community clearly is one of the prime drivers of search engine marketing on the web today. It is a powerful place to display our products and services and meet new advertisers and search syndication partners”. Said Laurissa Manning of GenieKnows.com.
Google has signed on as a conference sponsor and will host a special one-hour breakfast session. Tabke said, “This is an unprecedented level of commitment by Google. I would not be surprised to see Google make an important announcement of direct interest to marketers and webmasters during this hour.” Tabke continued, “Coffee and donuts while listening to a power point by Google? This is as good as it gets!”.
Late additions as bronze level sponsors are Microsoft and PositionTech.
