Anthem, Inc. has been recognized by CIO magazine as a recipient of the “2004 CIO 100 Award.”
The annual award recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology.
This year CIO magazine focused the award on agility, recognizing the “Agile 100” organizations that use technology to respond quickly to changing business environments. Winners demonstrate measurable results in how they apply IT to enable and support agility in their organizations.
Anthem was recognized for its speed and flexibility in developing new service models to meet changing customer needs. The company was also acknowledged for its innovative approach to implementing key technologies, including eBusiness, contact center technologies and document management solutions.
