Review of Webkits4U Template CD

Share

I received a disk in the mail the other day that has solved both of the above problems. WebKits4u has done an excellent job with designing stunning original templates for designers (or the not so design savvy designer) to use.

The CD rocks for saving time and coming up with new ideas. Just from looking at the designs I’ve been able to come up with some great ideas using peices of different templates to make a site. I’ve had the CD for about a week now and it’s already paid for itself in time and work.

The CD includes 30 professional templates in PSD format. They even include a sample site for each template that you can use to help create your site. Oh, and don’t worry about missing fonts in the templates. The CD Includes all the fonts used for each PSD!

I wonder if they will come out with a PNG cd? I know my way around Photoshop just as well as Fireworks, but what can I say… I’m an MX head. You can import the PSD files into Fireworks and still maintain just about all aspects of the original PSD file and then export for Flash pretty easily.

I like the included browser, so you don’t have to churn through all the folders. The only thing the browser is missing is linking to the specific folder for each template, but hey they are already cutting your workload in half so you’ll have a little extra time to browse the CD.

I almost forgot! The CD also includes a few very nicely designed logo templates for those that aren’t too savvy in the logo area. I’ve noticed that just because you have mastered one design skill, doesn’t mean you’ve mastered them all.

They are offing $50 off the CD cost for all the FlashNewz readers! Awesome, Huh?
