Mamma.com’s Site Search Functionality

Share

Mamma.com released site search functionality across it’s Publisher Network to complement the Company’s existing web search solutions.

Webmasters will earn revenue with the new products by signing up online to become search publishers.

By becoming a search publisher in the Mamma Media Solutions Network, webmasters will be able to provide their users with a top rated metasearch engine tool, and also generate a revenue stream based on paid links (or pay-per-click results). Web search will provide users with access to millions of pages on the web and site search functionalities will provide users with a robust search of the site they are on. Web and site search results will open in a new window, ensuring the user never leaves the publisher’s site. Publishers can choose to implement the search solutions in tandem or separately.

Guy Faure, President and CEO of Mamma.com Inc states, “We are pleased to be delivering once again on our one stop shop approach of integrated solutions to our clients. Publishers on our graphic ad network will have the opportunity to become search publishers while establishing an additional revenue stream and our search publishers can now offer a more robust product to their clients.” Additionally, we are one of the only search properties to offer site search for free, and pay a revenue share to our site search publishers.

“We are pleased to be providing an additional revenue stream to all of our publishers as well as developing quality distribution channels for our advertisers,” said Patrick Hopf, VP of Business Development. “Adding site search technology to our publisher network is designed to increase the site functionality of our valued publishers and in so doing will enable our publisher’s customers to search efficiently, while supplying our advertisers’ targeted link placement based on a user’s direct query.
