It’s Thursday night and you don’t feel like studying. You want to enrich your collegiate education with good life experience so you contemplate looking for a popular local tavern to discuss political philosophy with your collegiate comrades. You head to Yahoo Local and determine the best place for your discourse.
The kids at Sunnyvale released a top ten list of some of the more renowned establishments for said discourse. These fine clubs, pubs and bars are located all over the country and provide some of the best eats and drinks anywhere, while stimulating discussion continues.
The list:
— Charlottesville, Va. — Firehouse Bar & Grill
— Hanover, N.H. — Tooky Mills Pub
— Ann Arbor, Mich. — Heidelberg Restaurant
— Princeton, N.J. — Lorenzo’s Cafe
— Madison, Wis. — Badger Bowl
— Boulder, Colo. — Reef Piano Bar & Grill
— Flagstaff, Ariz. — Beaver Street Brewery
— Chapel Hill, N.C. — WB Yeats Irish Pub
— Eugene, Ore. — 6th Street Grill
— Berkeley, Calif. — Thallasa
Should one feel incensed their local tavern was excluded from the list, there is a non-violent remedy. Merely visit Yahoo Local’s site and locate your own favorite pub and rate it to your liking. The more entries regarding your choice, the better it will rate.
As a matter of fact, Yahoo would encourage one to rate a number of one’s favorite refuges in order to help achieve a fair balance in these matters. Restaurants, cobblers, haberdasheries and other mercantile establishments could all garner a rating.
Also available in the Yahoo Local would be search for any type of establishment one might want to visit, local events and festivals, or even the next rousing battle of the gridiron. But please, in all your investigations, please don’t neglect your studies.
