Durst Sues for the Nookie

Fred Durst, vocalist of has-been rap/rock band Limp Bizkit is suing several websites for hosting clips and images taken from a sex video of him and an ex.

The video was stolen from Durst’s hard drive. The feds believe the theft to be linked to the recent hacking of Paris Hiltion’s cell phone.

Durst is famous for being the front man of Limp Bizkit whose music was made popular when the band released a cover of a George Michael song about 8 years ago. A couple of years later he sang “I did it all for the Nookie.”

Perhaps there is some truth to that statement. Maybe he did do it all for the Nookie. He apparently didn’t do it for the viewing pleasure of others. He is seeking $80 million from the websites that he is suing.

“Basically, the purpose of the lawsuit was [to] stop people from exploiting [this private tape] between Fred and his girlfriend,” said Durst’s attorney. “We want to make clear to the world that this is not him trying to sell this.”

Well either way, at least Fred is in the spotlight again. I won’t be surprised if the next Limp Bizkit cd produces a music video making fun of the sex video like the one Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee made for his “Methods of Mayhem” rap/rock project. If I’m not mistaken, I belive that Durst made an appearance in that video as well.
