FindWhat has developed a unique business-enabling program, designed specifically to assist businesses in the southeast affected by the unprecedented total of four major hurricanes within six weeks to ‘get back on track.’
The resurgence of the economy in those areas impacted by Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne has been dramatically slowed and, in the most hard-hit areas, viciously halted. While government agencies, including the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Small Business Administration (SBA), are assisting businesses financially with loans, FindWhat.com also wants to help and has adopted its own special program designed to reach out to its neighbors in affected areas to encourage economic recovery and growth.
“In the aftermath of the tragic devastation brought about by these forces of nature, government agencies and countless other charitable and civic organizations have done a tremendous job in focusing on the immediate needs of the community: clean-up, rebuilding and humanitarian and charitable relief for our most important priority–the people,” expressed Craig Pisaris-Henderson, chairman and CEO of FindWhat.com, Inc. “As a life-long resident of southwest Florida and a business professional in both the local and global economy, I believe we have both an obligation and an opportunity to help the best way we can the people and businesses that have supported us in becoming a global independent leader in business growth solutions. Accordingly, I am pleased to announce the FindWhat.com 2004 Hurricane Relief Program which I believe will allow the many organizations suffering from the impact of these storms, especially small and medium sized businesses–what many call the foundation of the American economy–to take advantage of our business growth solutions and get back on track.”
The following summarizes the details of the FindWhat.com 2004 Hurricane Relief Program:
— FindWhat.com will offer a dollar for dollar match of advertising spent throughout October and November 2004 on the FindWhat.com Network, up to $100 maximum.
— Available to all current and new advertisers with businesses in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Mississippi.
— The program will include both the traditional pay-per-click and new pay-per-call services, allowing any affected company to take advantage of this offer whether they have a website or not.
— For new advertisers, FindWhat.com will also waive the set-up fees associated with two of its advertising services: its pay-per-click BusinessBuilder set-up fee ($25) and the pay-per-call full service set-up fee ($99).
— FindWhat.com will seek to collaborate with organizations throughout the states affected to communicate the special offer for business recovery and growth.
Business Wire, the global leader in news distribution, is the first sponsor to sign on to help spread the word to businesses in the affected areas. FindWhat.com thanks Business Wire for their support and encourages other organizations, with ties to businesses in the noted hurricane states, to help spread the word too.
