Their superior technology, commitment to customer support and demonstrated success in the market are the main reasons for choosing them as our map provider.”

“Our relationship with Telcontar underscores our commitment to partnering with the best content and services providers,” said Ryan Massie, product manager for Ask Jeeves. “Ask Jeeves seamlessly integrates Telcontar’s maps and driving directions with other Local features to deliver a superior local search experience for our users.”

The Telcontar Drill Down Server (DDS) enables location-based service providers the ability to easily integrate digital maps and traditional database content drawn from multiple sources for fast, accurate access to the user. The DDS provides flexible, patented spatial searching, geocoding and routing for LBS applications that include mapping and directions, navigation, fleet tracking, trip planning and real-time traffic information, all accessed via the Internet and wireless devices. The scalable DDS architecture delivers real-time information that can be changed dynamically with a transaction performance that continues to be proven second to none.
