PeopleSoft Named 2004 CRM Market Leader by CRM Magazine

PeopleSoft today announced it has been named a “2004 CRM Market Leader” by CRM magazine, a leading CRM industry publication dedicated to helping companies gain and maintain profitable customers, cultivate customer loyalty, and reduce business costs.

CRM magazine recognized PeopleSoft as both an Enterprise and Midmarket CRM Market Leader at DCI’s Customer Relationship Management Conference & Exposition in San Francisco on Aug. 31.

“We are pleased to present PeopleSoft with two CRM Market Leader Awards this year,” said Ginger Conlon, editor-in-chief, CRM magazine. “PeopleSoft’s development efforts, coupled with its strong showing in surveys of functionality and customer satisfaction conducted as part of the judging process, have solidified its standing as one of the industry’s true leaders and innovators.”

For CRM magazine’s 2004 CRM Market Leader Awards, the publication recognized the top five vendors in a variety of categories based on a combination of weighted criteria, including revenues and revenue growth, market share, reputation for customer satisfaction, and depth of functionality. The editors conducted extensive research in each of these areas, in addition to reviewing each company’s other accomplishments over the past year.

“PeopleSoft is focused on providing customers of all sizes with flexible CRM solutions that meet their current business requirements and can easily adapt to changing business environments,” said Steve Roop, vice president of product marketing for PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM. “We are pleased that CRM magazine has recognized our CRM leadership with these prestigious awards.”

In addition to the CRM magazine awards, PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM was recently recognized with two other industry honors. On Aug. 25, CMP Media’s Intelligent Enterprise magazine announced its seventh annual Readers’ Choice Awards, where PeopleSoft placed second in the “Best CRM” category. During the voting process, Intelligent Enterprise’s audience of 80,000 IT decision-makers selected the products that best enable an “intelligent enterprise.” PeopleSoft was also awarded a 2004 CRM Excellence Award by Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine in May. PeopleSoft won the award for its implementation at Long & Foster, the largest privately owned real estate brokerage in the United States. Long & Foster reduced its service costs while significantly improving its support response times after implementing PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM Support, Support Customer Self Service, and Field Service.
