Pretty regularly I get emails saying something like: “I got online and heard I could make millions. Now it’s two years later, I’ve spent thousands of dollars and I still have not made any money.”
Maybe you have felt that way too.
I have some good news and some bad news.
First, the bad: Making money online isn’t as simple as turning on a computer, putting up a simple website and collecting the checks. Just like any other business it takes time, guts and planning.
Now the good news: It is easier to start a web business than any other business at any other time in history.
Instead of trying to show you how to earn millions, I thought I would help you start a “little” business. One that you can start in a few days or weeks, one that will bring in a nice little check each month.

While you do that, you will learn so much you’ll have a much better idea of how to make big money online.
At this point I am going to show you how to do this using affiliate programs, though you could do it via setting up your own site and products or even through auctions. But, for simplicity’s sake, we are going to look at doing it with affiliate programs.
Let’s begin by looking at an overview, then the follow-up articles will get into the “nitty-gritty”.
To earn your first (or next) $1,000 online you need to:
1. Identify a reachable market of sufficient size.
2. Identify products that will make money in that market.
3. Create an idea that will appeal to that market.
4. Package that idea as a short report or eBook.
5. Market that idea to your target market.
