Writing a good classified ad is a skill one can learn in a short time. Writing dynamic classified ads can bring an income of $10,000 to $60,000 a year. What you say? That is right so get busy and learn how to write one now.

Classified ads are a powerful business tool when used Properly. Know what you can expect from these little business tools. What they can’t do is sell merchandise. What they can do is offer free stuff to attract as many prospects to your product pages as possible. A classified ad only has one purpose to attract a specific targeted audience to buy what you have to offer.

You want to get all the tools you can think of that have send more information on them. Letters, notes, postcards, classified ads, ezine ads are but a few ideas. When you receive an inquiry reply immediately and professionally with sales material that makes your sales pitch for your product. I use a sales letter, a flyer and I enclose a return envelope with postage the convenience of the customer to order. On the internet I use autoresponders, loaded with all of the above, a url for the product.

Classified ads are placed under specific headings according to subject. Your customer will be scanning the ads in that subject heading looking for something specific. Be honest in your ad. Don’t use hype or promise something in your ad you can’t deliver. You are building trust from the beginning.

Place your ad in the most appropriate heading. If you are selling ebooks, look for that heading. If they are on a specific subject look for that heading if it is not there suggest it to the classified owner. They may create a new heading for you for free or a small charge. It is worth it just to be as specific as possible.

Write like you don’t have an advertising budget at first just getting all your information on paper. Tell your customer they need what you have to offer, what it will do for the customer, how they can benefit by using your product, how pleasant their world will be after using your product.

Now when you have all the information together is the time to think of cost and size. Be selective in your wording, as you will be paying by the word. Edit, edit, edit. Select the power words that will move your client to send for more information. Remember this is the point of writing a classified ad.
