But what most people don’t know is how this relates to email marketing! Well, I’m going to tell you that in a minute but first think about this…

1. We’re Like Chameleons. We become like the people we’re around. The people that are the closest to you have influence on you (and you on them). What you become has a lot to do with those you’re in relationship with!
2. Relationships Can Get Almost Anything Done. If you know the right people you can get almost anything done! When we moved out to Washington, DC recently our furniture ended up being delayed. We were told that it would be a week later than the latest date it was supposed to arrive.
But it ended up arriving two days later! Why? Because we knew someone that knew the president of the company! 🙂
If a group of friends put their minds (and actions) together they can do almost anything!
So I bet you’re wondering what this has to do with email marketing?
EVERYTHING!
In email marketing you want to influence the people you’re talking to — right? Then why do we forget about the most powerful force!
If you want to use email effectively, then you have to build a tight, genuine relationship with the people on your list.
