Lyris Launches BidHero PPC Solution

At the end of October, J.L. Halsey Corporation changed its name to Lyris, Inc.  On Tuesday, the company partnered with Trellian.  And now it’s released a PPC campaign management solution called BidHero.  Busy, eh?

BidHero But to use a word with a slightly different connotation, Lyris has been productive, as well.  We spoke with Dan Robbins, the company’s director of marketing, and came away quite impressed with his newest product.

In terms of a target audience, Robbins described BidHero’s aim as “come one, come all.”  “If you’re experienced, the tool just facilitates your experience that much more,” he said.  “If you’re new to PPC . . . we do have some in-line help . . . to actually walk you through some best practices for creating PPC campaigns . . .”

Along the same lines, BidHero should gain plenty of fans for its ability to scale.  “Whether a search engine marketer is managing 10 or 10,000 PPC campaigns, BidHero automatically imports all campaigns, providing the customer with a single interface so they can oversee campaigns across multiple search engines,” Robbins stated.

One matter in which we remain in the dark relates to the particulars of BidHero’s beta testing.  Still, Robbins offered to share details at some later date, and since Lyris already counts Adobe, Jupitermedia, and Johns Hopkins University among its clients, that’s hardly a point of concern.

Frankly, all of this sounds like enough to wear a person (or a company) out.  Don’t count on it though; in regards to the future, Robbins promised, “We’re going to continue to strengthen these tools and announce key partnerships . . .”
